The case entirely enamelled in black and silver-gilt narrow stripes within white enamel borders, moonstone push repeat button to the top, moulded agate base, white jewel-enamelled frame to the convex-glazed white enamel dial with Arabic chapters and gilt minute track, diamond-set silver entrelac arrow-head hands, signed Cartier below 12, the single barrel movement signed on the backplate NOCTURNE BREVET 30226 and 14055, the gilt lever escapement platform with cut bimetallic compensated balance, the repeat on two gongs fixed to the back plate, the base plate stamped 3805 3762
