Of Baroque style, Venice, first half 19th century, the painted decoration refreshed and simulating much of the etched glass
The rectangular plate within a twist-blown glass edge and panelled outer slip painted with scrolling acanthus vines, the center of each side of the slip set with an acid-etched putti within a cartouche, beneath a pierced and arched rocaille cresting, set overall with amber-glass sections and divides, the border plates cracked
