AN ITALIAN ROCOCO STYLE GILT-METAL AND CUT-GLASS TWENTY-EIGHT LIGHT CHANDELIER
En suite with the preceding lot, with upspringing corona above a stepped baluster-form stem issuing open branches terminating in stylized flower-heads, the scrolling branches to the lower section interspersed with detachable scrolling arms each set with six further branches, the three tiers of branches each terminating in a pressed gilt-metal leaf-form drip pan and cylindrical bobéche, hung and wrapped profusely overall with faceted droplet-chains, flowerheads and beads, suspending a faceted finial below, with a gilt and silvered tin starburst ceiling boss stamped C within a diamond to the reverse, both the stem and arms drilled for electricity, some glass elements replaced
