Oblong 2o (371 x 542 mm). Lithographed vignette on title, 22 lithographed plates printed on india and pasted to mounts and three folding maps, one colored (some foxing and soiling). Original printed boards (rebacked, a bit worn).

FIRST EDITION. The plates are mostly of the monuments of Egypt but also include views of Bombay, Jedda, Mocah and Malta. Blackmer 799; Gay 1846.
