A PAIR OF PLATEAU BEADED WOOL LEGGINGS
of usual form, constructed of navy blue wool trade cloth, each overlaid with a panel of purple wool cloth, decorated with verticle beaded bands in several shades of translucent and opaque beads, each panel outlined with a band of white beads, an applied triangular motif with similar details in the upper field, the edges trimmed with purple, green and ivory wool cloth, striped and floral ribbon, red wool ties at top, hide fringe pendants along the sides, with typewritten tag inscribed, Indian old woolen chaps bought from an old Indian trader in Boise Idaho who lived with the Indians for more than 30 years
