A CLASSICAL MAHOGANY AND PARCEL-GILT CARD TABLE
Attributed to Charles Honore Lannuier, New York City, circa 1815
The rectangular hinged top with canted corners and crossbanded edge above a veneered apron centering a pierced ormolu mount depicting a lyre flanked by mythological figures and edged with diamond patterned inlay over a central lyre support with carved and gilt swans heads flanking brass strings over a pierced ormolu mount centering a bow flanked by flower sprigs, the lyre flanked by rope-turned and waterleaf carved supports all above a veneered abacus base, on gilt and waterleaf-carved legs with ebonized carved paw feet and castors
