Remains of tissue stuck to labels. All with damp affected labels. Slightly damaged labels in lot 50 and slightly damaged and torn in lots 51 and 52
Tasting note: Splendidly deep purple-garnet, with cedarwood and ripe black fruit aromas. Powerfully structured, if lacking the fleshiness of a super-ripe vintage, this has rich tannins, complex, lingering aftertaste and great potential. Last noted May 2002. A.H.
