Second quarter 18th century
Each piece with a garden scene showing a blue and gilt bird hovering above peonies growing from rocks and gazing at an iron-red and gilt bird who, oddly, appears in a window, blue ground borders with pine and bamboo panels, comprising:
A large platter, 16¾in. (42.5cm.) wide
A platter, 13¾in. (34.9cm.) wide
A charger, 15¼in. (38.7cm.) diam.
An oval footed centerpiece, 9¼in. (23.5cm.) wide
A scalloped circular basket, 7 1/8in. (18.1cm.) wide
Three small oval baskets, 4¾in. (12.1cm.) wide
Four soup plates, 9 1/8in. (23.2cm.) diam.
