Of typical form with acanthus-moulded lower portion enriched in green and puce, the upper portion with an urn issuing flowers on a diaper-pattern ground, 9 1/8in. (23.2cm.) high; the oval stand clobbered in bright colors, the basin with a Chinaman and trained parrots, the variant diaper and basket-weave moulded shaped border enriched in shades of puce and apple green, 6 3/8in. The later-decorated oval butter-tub stand is from the same mould as the pair of undecorated examples offered as lot 133 in the present sale.
