A Japanese shibuichi decorated bronze shaped vase
incised mark of Jomi (Shomi) Eisuke 11, late 19th Century
with details in silver and gilt and patinated bronze in hirazogan and takazogan, with an ornate bird cage hanging from trailing wisteria branches, its door open revealing three chicks inside, its raised pierced foot decorated with scattered leaf sprays -- 5in. (12.7cm.) high, (light wear).
