Three Chinese cloisonne enamel bowls
Ming Dynasty
Comprising a large bowl decorated with four Buddhistic lions gambolling around the exterior; a warming bowl well enamelled around the exterior with ascending and descending lotus blooms between ruyi band, and on the interior with daisy sprays surrounding a leaping carp medallion; and a small winecup enamelled on the exterior and base with lotus scrolls against a turquoise ground, the interior with a lanca character surrounded by further scrolls against a white ground -- 8 1/8 in. (20.6 cm.) diam. max,, (loose baseplate to large bowl, damages to enamel).
