Early 18th century
painted with figures in gardens of bamboo, plantain and rockwork, within bands of floral and foliate motifs -- 7½in. (19cms) high, (some restoration); and a Kakiemon dish painted and gilt with a phoenix in flight before a fenced garden of peonies and prunus blossom -- 8 5/8in. (22cms) diam, (rivetted).
