the upper and lower sections flaring outwards from a central moulded band, small circular apertures to the surface and upper sides, painted and gilt with shaped panels of birds in flowering gardens on a dense ground of peonies and trailing foliage -- 20½in. (52cms) high, (rubbing to surface).
