This work is sold with a photo-certificate from Jacques Dupin dated 'Paris, 26 juin 2002.'

This watercolour was executed on the frontispiece of the exhibition catalogue Joan Miró, held at the Museum of Modern Art, New York in November 1941. The original catalogue is sold with this work.
