Civitates Orbis Terrarum: Six Plates
six engravings, circa 1570, with hand-coloring, on laid papers, published in Nuremberg, all with margins, all with central vertical folds where previously bound (backed), all with pale light- staining, minor creasing throughout on several plates, Augustodunum with a 4½-in. diagonal crease in the lower right corner of the image and another smaller one in the upper right margin extending into the image, otherwise all apparently in very good condition, in antiqued faux-gilt frames with a leafed motif, not examined out of the frames
