The Adoration of the Christ Child

Some of the foreground figures, particularly the shepherd on the far right, may be derived from a Nativity by the Master of Amiens, to whom the present work was once ascribed, in the de Young Memorial Museum, San Francisco (illustrated in M.J. Friedländer, Early Netherlandish Painting, XI, Leiden, 1933, pl. 67).
