Circa 1752-8, blue anchor mark within a double circle
Painted in a version of the Imari palette in underglaze-blue, iron-red, green, yellow and gilt, the centre with a spray of chrysanthemum and other fowers within a flower-shaped panel, the well and rim with panels of flowering prunus, other flowers and scattered mons over radiating alternating diaper and brocade-pattern panels, gilt rims, the reverse with three flowering branches and a double line circle in blue (rubbing to gilding and slight rubbing to enamels)
