A Sevres oviform teapot and cover
1780, blue interlaced L's flanked by date letters cc and painter's mark y for Bouillat and En for Armand, incised 2 B and 43a
With curved spout and ear-shaped handle, the body and spout painted with scattered blue and pink flower-sprays with ochre and green foliage, the handle edged with gilt lines and pendant gilt husks, the domed cover with flower-sprays about a gilt fruit finial, gilt dentil rims (minute shallow chip to tip of spout, cover with terminal stem partially lacking)

Lot Essay
