A Zürich figure of a street-vendor
Circa 1780
Wearing a pink waistcoat, blue and iron-red striped skirt, pale-yellow underskirt and white apron, holding a rectangular cage at her right side and a basket of flowers suspended from her left elbow, a small bird perched on her left hand, standing barefoot before rocks on a shallow circular naturally coloured grassy rockwork mound base (handle of basket lacking, a minute chip to tips of two leaves)
