The light rust field with bold scrolling angular arabesques together with delicate palmette and leafy vine around indigo medallion with pendants containing similar design enclosing ivory radiating floral centrepiece, light blue linked spandrels in a shape of an inner frame with similar motifs, in an indigo border of polychrome hooked palmettes and angular leafy vine between apricot and ivory floral arabesque stripes, outer plain stripe, slight localized wear on sides, small old repairs and minute moth damage to pile on edges
