A GEORGE III PADOUK AND MARQUETRY TEA-CADDY AND A TRADE PLATE FOR THOMAS BETTS
Each side inlaid with an ellipse, the lidded top with a patera and handle enclosing a penwork panel depicting a tea-pot, cup and saucer on a tray, the front with a martial trophy on a satinwood ground, the sides with neo-classical urns, the reverse with a patera, on an engraved guilloche-band foot, the lid with brass plaque inscribed 'Green (sic)'; and a cabinet-maker's trade plate for Thomas Betts, circa 1750
