A LATE VICTORIAN SATINWOOD, ROSEWOOD AND MARQUETRY DEMI-LUNE COMMODE
The top inlaid with a medallion of a young shepherd-boy and dog surrounded by husks and scrolled acanthus, the banded edge inlaid with scrolling foliage, above a swagged drapery and foliate frieze, above three crossbanded panels with husk-draped urns, the central door panel enclosing a shelf, between inlaid uprights, on tapering feet, the backboard with label inscribed 'Mrs J. Rowley 10.12.34' and inscribed in blue crayon '14', chalk inscription '1573'
