A mahogany breakfront library bookcase, 19th century
possibly reconstructed from Georgian elements, the upper part with a swan neck pediment and central tablet with oval veneer, with dentil cornice and crossbanded frieze, simulated marble decorated interior fitted with shelves and enclosed by glazed astragal doors, the lower part with moulded edge and fitted with a central drawer applied with reentrant mouldings, and fitted with three drawers below enclosed by a pair of panel doors flanked by short drawers and enclosed cupboards to either side on bracket feet -- 107in. (272cm.) high, 70in. (178cm.) wide, 26in. (67.5cm.) deep
