A Flemish kingwood, oyster veneer, ivory and marquetry side table, 19th century
in the Louis XIV style, the oyster veneered top with chequered oval panels centred by bird and foliage, in stellar geometric panels and striped crossbanded border containing a drawer with similar inlaid birds and flowers, on sprially turned legs, headed by inlaid panels above, and joined by raised cross stretchers, with an octagonal inlaid centre, on bun feet -- 39¼in. (74cm.) high, 54¼in. (112.5cm.) wide, 15¾in. (78cm.) deep
