A French mahogany and ormolu mounted bureau plat, 19th century
in the manner of Reisener, the rectangular top inset with a panel of toole leather, with a moulded brass edge, containing two drawers with moulded borders, on square tapered legs, headed with foliate paterae, with brass collars and fluted angles, with brass sabots, with laurel leaf key plate with central locking mechanism for both drawers, locking mechanism on right drawer missing -- 29¾in. (75.5cm.) high, 39½in. (100cm.) wide, 24in. (61cm.) deep
