Pauillac, 1er cru classé. Château-bottled
Two slightly damaged capsules. Bin-soiled and slightly faded labels, some damp stained. Levels into neck
Tasting note: starting to shed some of its colour and to mature in appearance and nose: a lovely cedar pencils bouquet; sweet, full of fruit, lots of tannin and still "chewable" with redcurrant scents. Surprisingly sweet, very amenable despite its tannic grip. Delicious, with 20 glorious years ahead. M.B. April 2001
