Surmounted by a pierced baluster rail, the rectangular top fitted with a tan-colour leather writing surface, above a frieze fitted with rectangular plaques, each depicting birds on a green background, the front fitted with three drawers, on four tapering legs, each headed by a ribbon-tied swag, on cast sabots, on castors
