An important French ormolu-mounted kingwood, tulipwood and marquetry dressing table

Surmounted by a shaped mirror plate centred to the top by a seated angel, inscribed to the reverse Linke, issuing scrolling acanthus garlands, above two dolphins and a marquetry panel depicting oysters and swimming fish, above a shaped Brèche Violette marble top with a central frieze drawer, centred by a female mask, flanked to each side by a cupboard door with tritons playing trumpets, the scrolling gilt surround inscribed F.Linke, opening to reveal four drawers, on four cabriole legs, each surmounted by a scantily-clad female caryatid, on scrolling acanthus feet
