A Victorian Scottish Silver Inkstand
Maker's mark JM, Glasgow, apparently 1856
the oblong inkwell with engraved leaf, flower and rocaille motifs below a scroll motif rim, supported on four scroll feet, each side with a pen rest, with supports for the two silver-mounted glass bottles, with a silver taperstick - 22.1cm. (8.3.4in.) long, weight of silver 19oz.
