The finial formed as a kneeling bacchic putto raising a goblet and holding a flask, the deep circular bowl and dome cover with ozier-moulded borders, painted with vignettes in the Hogarth style with revellers feasting at tables in exteriors, among scattered flower-sprays, gilt line rims
