Decorated overall with brass tack inlay, with sliding cover

a Victorian treen shoe snuff, with parquetry inlay simulating the lace holes and nails to the sole, with sliding cover -- 3½in. (9cm.) long; another treen shoe snuff, parcel-ebonised, with copper tack inlay simulating the lace holes and with sliding cover -- 4½in. (11.5cm.) long; and a treen shoe snuff of small size, with sliding cover -- 2½in. (6.4cm) long (4)
