A central European pine drop-flap table, 19th century
probably Swiss, with oval top and bulbous gadrooned and turned legs joined by flattened and concave stretchers, on tapered feet -- 27in. (68cm.) high, 37in. (94cm.) extended

Provenance

Sir Michael Nairn Bt, of Earlshall near St. Andrews, and by descent to the current vendor. Earlshall is one of Sir Robert Lorimer's most famous Scottish castle restorations.
