The first series of GF micro camera was made in 1981 numbered 1-20 and additional series numbered up to 53 were made from 1983-1987. The final series, the GF84, consists of thirty-two bladck anodised cameras from 54-85 and twenty-two gold-plated cameras. The series featured refinements to the camera and improved production techniques with each camera featuring fifty-one components.
