A two-fold needlework screen, the panels worked in gros and petit point in coloured wools with silk highlights, one with an elegant couple in a landscape with three fruiting and flowering trees within a foliate cartouche, the second worked with a lady, possibly Flora, bearing a garland of flowers and crowned with a floral wreath, the trees in the background with verdant foliage, mounted later with rust-coloured velvet surrounds and trimmed with braid--45¾ x 22in.
