ROMANEE ST. VIVANT

The parcel of this famed vineyard that once belonged to the Marey-Monge family has been managed by the Domaine since 1966. It was finally sold to Domaine de la Romanée Conti in 1988. This is the largest parcel within the vineyard of 5.29 hectares, the average age of the vines is 25 years, they produce an average of 17 000 bottles per annum.

Fairly deep, richly coloured; complete, harmonious nose but a harder edge and less evolved than the '71; fairly sweet, full-bodied, firm, very good, refreshinng and life-sustaining acidity.
