DOM PERIGNON
From a temperature and humidity controlled cellar.
Since 1921, Cuvée Dom Pérignon has produced one the world's great wines. It wasn't until 1945 that Louis Roederer released Cristal. It has always been produced from the same vineyards, the large majority of which were purchased in 1820s which were at the time owned by the Abbey of Hautvillers.
The vintages on offer here represent three of the best from the last 20 years. The 1982 already an established classic continues to shine, as does the 1985, the real gem however is the 1983. Tom Steveson, a leading authority on Champagne and author of the World Encyclopedia of Champagne and Sparkiling Wine, states that he has always given the 1982 and 1983 Dom Pérignons equal scores when ever tasted. Regardless of your preference, there are several cases of all three vintages on offer, all are in pristine condition and represent excellent value for money.
