Tasted 01/2003. Full red colour, showing almost no signs of age. Really pronounced nose, packed with ripe blackcurrant, hints of old fig and cedar. Velvety texture, full, dry; very complex; ripe chewy plums, spice and herbal notes layer the palate; finishes long and rich. A fine and enduring Bordeaux. DW
