The stamp on the locking mechanism is thought to be that of William Bullock, a Birmingham hardware manufacturer in the early 19th century, a similar mahogany breakfast table with catch handle stamped Bullock Patent in honesty in the King Street salerooms, 14th November 1994, lot 69
