The case with broken arch pediment and foliate door mounts, glazed side panels, on ball feet, the black velvet covered dial applied with a skeletonised Roman dial with outside engraved Arabic minutes, pierced and engraved brass hands, supported by a relief cast figure of Chronos, above panel inset with two signature plaques engraved Johannes Van/Ceulen Haghe, the movement with four large and one small baluster pillar joining the arched plates, verge escapement with cycloidal cheeks to the silk suspension, the back plate applied with pierced and engraved foliate mounts to the barrel click spring and around a further plaque with repeat signature
