A Dutch walnut and burr-walnut bureau bookcase
First half 18th Century
Crossbanded overall and inlaid with featherbanded lines, the doors enclosing a plain interior with three adjustable shelves and three drawers, above two slides, the hinged slope with a green velvet-lined writing-surface to the reverse, enclosing a fitted interior with a central door, six variously-sized pigeon-holes and six drawers, and a well, later bun feet.
