Edo period (18th-19th century), with signature Hogyoku
Modelled as a fox standing and looking to the right, it's paws raised in a coquettish manner, a large jewel between it's rear paws, the details etched and stained dark and the eyes inlaid in shell; large himotoshi on the reverse
