Of flattened, ovoid form, well carved on either side through the sapphire-blue overlay to the gold-flecked, color-splashed ground with a phoenix perched on a rocky outcropping before a blossoming branch of camellia, stopper

Acquired in Beijing between 1945 and 1950.
