A SMALL OLIVE-GLAZED STONEWARE EWER
Five Dynasties period, 10th century
With tapering ovoid body surmounted by a slightly flaring neck with lipped rim, the sides rouletted with bands of crosshatching below a double-grooved band on the high shoulder applied with a short conical spout opposite the double-strap handle, covered with a thin, yellowish-olive glaze applied over a white slip falling short of the flat base exposing the granular ware
