A Celadon Barrel-Form Garden Seat
Ming dynasty, 15th century
The sides well carved in relief with four panels depicting lotus, peony, hibiscus and chrysanthemum within strap borders below a band of carved key fret, all between rows of raised nail-head bosses and bands of carved clouds, the top carved with diaper pattern in imitation of a woven rattan seat, covered overall with a glaze of olive-green tone
