Compare a similar pair of purple-glazed waterdroppers illustrated in The Wonders of the Potter's Palette: Qing Ceramics from the Collection of the Hong Kong Museum of Art, Hong Kong, 1984, no. 35. See, also, a similar waterdropper with dark blue glaze, illustrated by R. Krahl, Chinese Ceramics from the Meiyintang Collection, London, 1994, vol. 2, p. 198, pl. 850.
