A French brass striking four-glass mantel clock, circa 1890
The case with foliate filigree mounts to the angles and cornices, bevelled glasses, pierced foliate engraved openwork mask to the front door, the off white enamel Arabic chapter ring with conforming foliate mount to recessed centre, regulation at 12, blued steel hands, the twin barrel movement with strike on gong -- 12 1/8in. (31cm.) high
