A large Delftware blue and white chinoiserie tulipière
First half 20th century, pseudo-marked APK
Inspired by a late 17th century example, the slightly conical upper section moulded with five hexagonal segments painted with Orientals at various pursuits and stylised motifs, each supporting two nozzles flanked by scrolls, on three Batavian lion supporters and large hexagonal section painted with Oriental landscape scenes, raised on three further lion supporters on plinths (without the top section)
