A Rouen faïence polychrome wall fountain, cover and wooden support
Late 18th century, the wooden support of a later date
The baluster body with flat back painted in colours with floral garlands, the lower part with arched panels, the front moulded in relief with a mascaroon suspending a pewter faucet shaped as a swan's head, the pierced top moulded with a shell flanked by two dolphins, the domed cover and ball finial en suite, on a fitted wooden support painted in white
The faïence 65 cm. high, the frame 70.5 cm. high
