A PAIR OF HÖCHST FIGURES OF A BOY AND GIRL,
circa 1840, blue wheel marks, incised mark to boy, painted l. to both
the boy modelled leaning on a tree-stump, his companion dancing, on grassy rockwork bases; together with a Höchst style figure of a butter seller, modelled after the Meissen original from the 'Cris de Paris' series, the tradesman with a butter paddle over his shoulder
