Mark of Robert Hennell, London, 1861; the hotwater-milk jug 1934, Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Co.
the ovoid bodies engraved with strapwork and arabesque patterns, each side applied with a Renaissance-style cartouche, each lid with a shaped and beaded finial, supported by a pedestal foot, ivory insulators, 109oz; TOGETHER WITH an oval pierced border plated two-handled tray, with laurel-leaf mount, on four elaborate feet, 61 x 47cm (24 x 18½ inches) excluding handles.
